I’m Ruth the artist and designer behind Ruthieonart.
The journey that brought me to walk out my desire to create and offer my work to others started as a young child when I began to paint. Although I studied fine art in college I went on to work professionally as a graphic designer. It is no surprise that I feel the most alive when my work as an artist and my skill as a designer are combined.

Working somewhere between realism and abstraction there is a colorful back and forth play with how I approach what I see and what I create. This the essence of what makes my art unique.
Put me in a garden, seat me at a table with good food, family and friends,
or let me travel to some beautiful place and I will be content,
but I will also most likely want to paint what I encounter.
