Painting white flowers is about the challenge to think in terms of negative space and see color as it is reflected on to the white petals. The White and Purple Plumeria is my interpretation of a white Plumeria with a yellow center and the perceived shadows as shades of purple. Symbolizing new birth, love, and new beginnings The White and Purple Plumeria is part of a collections of Tropical themed flowering plants.

The painting was selected for the Envision Arts, Juried Exhibition, Conduit at the Frisco Art Gallery in Frisco, Texas.
