I’m Ruth, the artist and designer behind Ruthieonart.
From My Studio
My desire to create began at an early age, when I first fell in love with watercolor. Although I studied fine art in college, my career eventually led me into professional graphic design. It’s no surprise that I feel most alive when these two worlds—my love of fine art and my eye as a designer—come together.
Ruthieonart Fine Art began with a simple realization: there is a special kind of joy that comes when the colors and beauty of nature are expressed through art. Today, I create original watercolor paintings, art prints, and greeting cards, bringing my artwork into homes and now into shops through wholesale.
My cards begin with my original artwork, inspired by the colors, textures, and quiet beauty of the garden and natural landscapes. Through my work, I hope to capture a sense of serenity and create pieces that bring beauty into everyday spaces.
My approach to painting lives somewhere between realism and abstraction. I’m continually moving back and forth between what I see in nature and how I choose to interpret it through color, shape, and brushwork. That playful tension between observation and interpretation is at the heart of my work—and what makes Ruthieonart uniquely mine.
What I Offer
I’ve been selling my notecards since 2018 on Etsy and at in-person shows around the Dallas–Fort Worth area. My cards have consistently been my best-selling products, which is what encouraged me to start offering them to shops. I know customers love them because I’ve seen it firsthand—and I’m excited to now share them with retailers who want to offer something beautiful and personal to their customers.
Beautiful Art, Thoughtfully Made
The paper I choose for my cards is just as important to me as the paper I use for my original artwork. My cards are printed on rich linen cardstock chosen to bring the color and character of the original watercolor as close to the original artwork as possible. The result is a card that feels beautiful not only to see, but to hold.

If you prefer to order directly, wholesale orders can be placed through my website. Payment is securely processed through Stripe or PayPal.

Order Through Faire
You can also find my wholesale collections on Faire. If your shop already has a Faire account, or you would like to open one, you’re welcome to order directly through the Faire marketplace and take advantage of Faire’s retailer terms.
Thank you for your interest in carrying my watercolor notecards in your shop. Each set begins with an original watercolor or watercolor design, thoughtfully printed on beautiful, rich linen card stock to preserve the color, texture, and feeling of the original artwork.

Pricing
Notecards are currently available in sets of 6.
Wholesale: $7 per set
Suggested Retail: $14 per set
Opening & Reorder Minimums
Opening orders have a $150 minimum.
Reorders have a $125 minimum.

Please fill out ONE form and email it to ruth@ruthieonart.com.
Payment
Payment is made securely through my Squarespace checkout using Stripe or PayPal.
Payment is due when the order is placed
Shipping & Turnaround Time
I carefully prepare each wholesale order so it arrives ready for your shop.
Shipping: A flat rate of $15 per order.
Turnaround: Orders typically ship within 1–2 weeks of receiving payment.
Returns/Damaged Merchandise
I want every order to arrive in beautiful condition and ready for your shop.
Direct Wholesale Orders
Because my notecards are small-batch, thoughtfully produced paper goods, I do not accept returns on direct wholesale orders due to overstock, change of mind, or unsold merchandise.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or with an incorrect item, please contact me within 14 days of delivery and include a photo of the issue. I’ll work with you to make it right, either by replacing the affected product or providing an appropriate refund or credit.
If an order is damaged during shipping, I will handle the shipping claim and work with you to resolve the issue.
Faire Orders
Orders placed through Faire are subject to Faire's current return and damaged-goods policies. Faire handles eligible first-order returns, while damaged or incorrect merchandise should be reported through Faire's process and addressed with the brand.
Cancellations
I understand that plans can change. Direct wholesale orders may be cancelled within 48 hours of placing the order, provided production has not yet begun.
Because my notecards are printed to order, I may begin preparing your order shortly after it is placed. Once production has begun, I may not be able to accommodate a cancellation.
For orders placed through Faire, cancellations are subject to Faire's current cancellation policy.
Retailer Resale
Wholesale products are purchased for resale to the retailer's customers.
The Suggested Retail Price is $14 per set of 6 notecards. This price is provided as a guide to help retailers establish their pricing; each retailer is responsible for setting its own retail prices.
Retailers may use provided product images and information to promote the notecards in connection with their business. Artwork and product images remain the property of the artist and may not be altered, reproduced, or used to create new products without permission.
Please represent the artwork and products accurately when displaying or promoting them.
Artwork & Copyright
All artwork, watercolor designs, illustrations, photographs, and other creative work associated with these products remain the intellectual property of the artist. Purchasing wholesale products does not transfer ownership or copyright of the artwork to the retailer.
Retailers may use approved product photographs and artwork images provided by the artist solely to promote and sell the products they have purchased for resale.
Artwork may not be copied, scanned, reproduced, altered, traced, digitally manipulated, or used to create other products, printed materials, merchandise, or designs without prior written permission.
Retailers may not use the artwork independently of the products for which it was created, including as general decoration, website graphics, social media graphics, or other promotional material unrelated to the sale of the products, without permission.
All copyright and artist attribution information should remain intact when provided with the artwork or product images.
If you would like to use an artwork or image in a way that falls outside these guidelines, please contact me. I’m happy to discuss additional uses and permissions.
